Position Overview
The Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Technician repairs and maintains electric and propane industrial lift trucks, pallet jacks, scissor lifts, and cherry pickers.
Responsibilities include troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and logging work into computerized systems.
The role involves interpreting manuals, schematics, and operating procedures, and assisting with battery, electrical, refrigeration, and building repairs.
Knowledge of mechanical systems such as transmissions, brakes, drive motors, and electrical systems (AC/DC, PLC) is essential.
Preferred candidates have 1-2 years experience with MHE or automotive mechanics, especially with brands like Crown, Raymond, or Toyota.
