Position Overview
Keep our communities fed by ensuring accurate receipt of merchandise in a warehouse environment.Responsibilities
Contribute by:
- Verifying incoming shipments against records, recording counts, pallet types, and discrepancies.
- Entering shipment data into the system, including weight, damages, and charges, to support inventory and reporting.
- Maintaining inventory accuracy through cycle counts and addressing shortages, overages, or damages.
- Monitoring warehouse systems for open invoices and supporting smooth flow from receiving to shipping.
- Labeling pallets, verifying inbound freight accuracy, and documenting discrepancies.
- Optimizing storage efficiency, recognizing hazards, and operating warehouse technology such as RF guns.
- Auditing inventory slots, checking for pest activity, and performing assigned tasks per SOPs.
- Supporting safety policies and other job-related duties as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
- At least six months of warehouse experience, with electric pallet jack skills preferred.
- Strong planning, execution, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Ability to follow safety policies and work collaboratively to achieve results.
