Experienced Boiler Installer (Residential & Light Commercial)
Field-based role installing, replacing, and commissioning gas and hydronic boiler systems for residential and light commercial customers. Ensure all piping, venting, and controls are installed to code and verify safe, efficient operation.
Key Duties
- Install, replace, and start up gas and hydronic boilers
- Inspect and ensure code-compliant piping, venting, and control setups
- Diagnose installation and system issues; complete repairs and upgrades
- Confirm safe, proper, and efficient operation through testing
- Communicate findings and installation options clearly to customers
- Collaborate with dispatch and sales; maintain accurate job records
- Support and mentor apprentices as needed
Qualifications / Skills
- Proven experience installing and commissioning boiler systems
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of code requirements for boiler piping, venting, and controls
