Requirements include being a U.S. citizen, holding a valid driver’s license, firearm proficiency, age between 21-37 (with some exceptions), obtaining and maintaining a Top Secret clearance, meeting vision and hearing standards, passing drug tests, completing intensive law enforcement training, and being willing to accept assignments nationwide or abroad. Candidates must also register with the Selective Service if applicable.
