Seeking a Construction Inspector to join our team in Roanoke, VA.
Responsibilities include field inspections, observing and documenting construction and maintenance projects, and performing tests on soils, asphalt, concrete, and other materials.
Work is under the supervision of a Project Engineer, with some direct supervision from client employees.
Inspectors must be willing to travel statewide, work flexible hours including nights, and have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
Essential duties involve conducting inspections, testing materials, responding to data requests, participating in traffic control, and completing daily reports, progress photos, and documentation.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license.
Certifications such as VDOT Soil and Aggregate, Asphalt, Concrete, and others are required or obtainable.
