Role: Certified Automotive Inspector (State, Emissions, Safety, or Smog Inspector in Training)
Responsibilities: Perform preventive maintenance (oil changes, fluid checks, filter replacements, light and wiper inspections), conduct state, smog, safety, and emissions inspections, evaluate customer needs, and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Act as a trusted advisor to ensure vehicle safety and performance.
Qualifications & Skills: Valid driver’s license, at least one year of recent automotive experience or completion of an automotive program, ability to obtain inspector certification within 90 days, and proficiency in English. Must be physically capable of standing, climbing stairs, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in non-climate-controlled settings. Demonstrates eagerness to learn, friendly attitude, and team focus.
Key Duties: Master product and company knowledge, provide excellent customer service, and ensure safety and quality standards are met during inspections and maintenance tasks.
