Position Overview
Ensure accurate receipt of merchandise, verifying correct quantities, condition, and documentation to support warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and compare incoming shipments with records, recording counts and pallet details.
- Enter shipment data into computer systems, tracking weight, damages, and discrepancies.
- Assist with inventory accuracy through cycle counting and resolve shortages, overages, or damages.
- Monitor warehouse management system for open invoices and support smooth flow from receiving to shipping.
- Label pallets, verify inbound freight against purchase orders, and report discrepancies.
- Arrange items and slots for optimal efficiency, recognize inventory hazards, and operate warehouse technology.
- Audit product rotation, verify pest activity, and perform routine inventory tasks per SOP guidelines.
Qualifications & Skills
- At least six months warehouse experience; electric pallet jack experience preferred.
- Strong planning, teamwork, communication, and safety adherence skills.
