Commercial Estimator – Plumbing
Responsible for supporting plumbing projects in healthcare-related and multi-unit residential environments by reviewing construction plans, performing detailed material and labor takeoffs, and preparing accurate cost estimates and competitive bids.
Key Duties
- Analyze vendor and subcontractor quotes to ensure pricing accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with project managers to align estimates with project scope and requirements.
- Ensure estimates and bidding materials comply with applicable codes and healthcare-related standards.
- Optimize project costs and support smooth project handoffs.
- Refine and improve estimating tools and processes to increase consistency and efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong plumbing estimating knowledge with ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
- Detail-oriented takeoff and cost-calculation skills to produce bid-ready documentation.
- Ability to evaluate bids and quotes and communicate findings clearly.
- Collaborative mindset and reliability in a client-centered environment.
