Industrial Maintenance Technician
Maintain safe, efficient operations in a high-volume recycled plastics manufacturing environment by performing preventive and corrective maintenance on extrusion, film, bag, and packaging equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct preventive maintenance and respond to corrective maintenance needs.
- Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical documentation.
- Use CMMS tools to track work orders, maintenance activities, and equipment status.
- Coordinate with production to reduce downtime and restore equipment to reliable operation.
- Champion workplace safety and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
- Hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting industrial machinery.
- Strong diagnostic skills with mechanical and industrial systems.
- Ability to interpret schematics and apply troubleshooting logic.
- Proficiency using CMMS or similar maintenance tracking systems.
- Commitment to safety, reliability, and process improvement.
